The creature will hide itself and blend into the habitat. Fish and other creatures will swim around it, live around it but the chemicals themselves are deadly just like the vents themselves. Many creatures rely on the chemicals and when you go up the food-chain, there sea monsters are getting those chemicals. This creature's body recreates this toxicity in it's body and when it swims around, it spreads the poison, weakening, making other fish sick and sluggish before it ambushes the prey. However, even though the poisons in it's body are important for it's survival, it does result in the highly acidic chemicals creating holes in the neck and other problems so sadly, they tend to not live long.

Well I didn't use cigs, skulls and poor deformed people but now I feel like my picture doesn't relate enough ugh. I felt like almost everything has been targeted at the smokers themselves as it's completely their fault and not the actual poisoning of the chemicals in what they're using. I have friends and family who struggle to stop, they know it's bad but unfortunately their bodies desire the chemicals in order to function through out their daily lives. I chose to do a sort of sea monster thing that lives around the hydrothermal vents in the ocean. They're also called black smokers so I thought it would be kind of neat to incorporate.

I am the master of procrastination and deadlines. Trying out greyscale first before coloring...so fun to experiment and I think I work much faster, dunno about coloring though and lack of line art I'm not used to it lol so it was an interesting challenge anyway.
