No, I didn't get to meet him... but hope to someday. Don Bluth made an appearance at an animation gallery where my friend was working, and Mr. Bluth very graciously rendered this drawing of Charlie and Itchy for me. Several years later, I managed to locate a production cel of the same scene from "All Dogs Go to Heaven", and I plan to frame it alongside this (dedicated) drawing in the near future.

On a side note, R.I.P. Dom DeLuise (Itchy) and thank you for the laughter.
