Drake was sleeping peacefully.

It was a hot sunny morning, he was going to sleep till at least midday. He was rather enjoyning the sun kissing his snake skin, it was worm and calming.

It was the first sunny day after a whole month of rain and storms. The rattlesnake hated rain and water, he was damn scared of deep water and Destiny spent all the month pulling a prank on him. Ah! But he was going to spleep that day, oh yes!

He smiled in his sleep thinking about what he would have done when he would have finally woke up. He would have probably looked out for food, a small mouse or a bunny perhaps.

Suddendly he couldn't feel the sun on his skin anymore, there was a shadow standing in front of him. He opened one eye and then the other and startled. The rattlesnake pulled himself together as soon as he realized the shadow standing in front of him was his friend Destiny.

Drake squinted while the other giggled and smirked:

-G' mornin' princess! Guess whose birthday's today uh,UH?

The stallion was holding a wicker basket full of red apples.

The rattlesnake frowned and blushed slightly, it was his birthday that day and Des didn't forget about that, he was kinda surprised.

-I brought ya some apples for breakfast!

Added the horse assuming a proud pose and expression. He put down the basket and led it beneath the tree were that snake was sleeping. Then he trotted away.

Drake cracked a smile, though he would have never eaten the apples his friend brought him, he was rather happy Des remembered about his birthday.

It would have been an awesome day.

Ah Des you're so no good at making presents.

Yes I did a thing. Mostly because yesterday's was technically Drake's birthday and so this morning I had this idea and decided to draw it.

I love my babies. I wanted to draw them as humans but I couldn't so..
