Izil was born into White Magic. His father was a Priest and his mother the towns healer. Naturally, he took to the spiritual white magics and trained to become a Priest like his father. He studied well, and although he had natural talent, his often childish behavior meant he only barely got by in official training. He slowly took over responsibility at his towns church, and would often take over tasks for his father. It was for this reason that Izil was not in town with the demons attacked, slaughtering everyone. When he returned on the scene, Izil did what he thought was best, and it cost him. Now he travels the roads as a "Sell Priest", helping those who need it and hunting down demons. He's often in the company of William, and though the half-elf doesn't seem to like him, Izil enjoys being around the learned man.
