Drew this mostly to get a feel for proportions. It came out pretty nice though, so I'm uploading it despite it being a very not final overall design.

Ironically my default state is feral, but anthro is something we have a lot more practice with. We did draw the entire tail, it's just most of the detail is hidden behind the legs. Leg fins and belly colouration are derived from the Red and Green sprite, which like many other pokémon, used a slightly different design to the modern one.
