This is something I did in November 2012. It was very much an experimental piece, playing around with colors and lighting and going back to the anime style I used to draw in. This was also the very first digital art piece I did where I just did everything on the tablet from start to finish. Before that, I was usually sketching everything on paper first and then scanning it in to color it because I wasn't comfortable with drawing things correctly on the tablet first.

The character is from a fantasy story I hope to write someday. Her name is Sydelle and she belongs to a matriarchal warrior society made of tribes that lives and roam around in the desert.
