In all honesty, I probably should have redrawn this, but I had already colored it and done a good amount of shading before my old computer decided to malfunction, so I stuck with it. At the time, this was the most effort I ever put into a background.

Anyway, this was intended as a gift to :iconcee-h: last year, but computer stuff happened and I felt like drawing other things, so I pushed this ancient drawing to this year. Better late than never, eh? :lol:

This subjects you see are my character Rex Lightning (the black one) and his, Craven Drakard (the red one). Rex is based off his teenage appearance in "The Spies," while Craven is a composite of a few different armors (sans the gauntlet, I added that :P). The events of "The Spies" take place on a planet named Dracex, while Craven's adventure takes place in Drakia, hence the title. How did they meet? I don't know. Why are they fighting? Chalk it up to Rex being a douche, as usual.
