In "The Spies," Master Furon runs a tea shop with his wife, the Old Woman. His role in Rex's adventures is to prepare him for said adventures and encounters through rigorous training. He becames something of a father figure to Rex, providing spiritual advice and always willing to listen to Rex's problems.
