Clothed Female Wolf Practice by Evangellos

Clothed Female Wolf Practice

Evangellos

One of my earliest anthro drawings designed on August 2016

Practice session goal: Design a figure with more of a stylized look. Use more blended shadows. Design a character with appealing features (the breasts) but still remain clothed.

This drawing was a departure for me. Things are a lot more simple but ultimately it worked. I was using different reference material to give the white outline around the figure which I think helps separate the figure from the background. The shading was also different for me. I used the Blur tool to get an interesting blended look, but I need more practice with it because parts of it look almost too smooth. I also wanted to work on mouth position and expressiveness with the mouth open but ran into position with the position of the teeth.

Heavy references were used and I used extensive tutorials on both FA and youtube to get a realistic shadow and figure design
I definitely used artaith-21's art to help design the head and mouth as reference material as well as the shading and some basic anatomy structure such as the position of the arms.
