I noticed the face first. Its a bit chubby for an ordinary wolf; they have much leaner faces along with long muzzles.
And the eyes, their pupils arent so big.
I would recommend a skull study of the animal.
Also, if he has his back to the sun, shouldnt his front have much more shading to it?
The chest/hand proportions are pretty big too.
Its still nice to look at. I'll be eager to see what you'll make of yourself in a couple years.
Gorgeous piece!! The dragon thing in the back really give it a little bit more story too!
For a critique, I think maybe the cape, fur, and metal armor should be lit differently. Metal is more reflective and should have the harshest highlight, and the fur and cape should be less light, I think?
