This is the artwork I did for the :iconNordicFuzzCon: (https://nordicfuzzcon.org/Offline/Default.aspx) regular badge.
Their theme was Scandinavian folklore.
Normally I don't use outlines but for badges I figured it would be a bit better due to readability and size.

Actually when it comes to the meaning this is my personal favorite of all the badges.
Yggdrasil is the worldtree
I found a story where it says:
"Underneath the tree there lives a snake, evil and bad. She eats the worldtrees roots and sometimes even attacks the tree branches and other animals that live there.
The squirrels in it's trees are brave and will always try to protect the tree."
That is the illsutration to this story :>
