So I had this idea to make a bunch of small 4x6 paintings inspired by My Little Pony episodes to practice painting ponies and also to give myself an excuse to paint more often.

But in order to keep things down to a manageable level as I prepare for upcoming conventions and whatnot I decided to limit it to only one season; specifically season three of Friendship is Magic. (seeing as season 3 is only 13 episodes)

Sleepless in Ponyville, being kind of in the middle of season 3, is kind of an odd choice to start with, but I've never been one to pass up on the chance to draw one of my favorite ponies.

...okay, so this painting doesn't really represent Sleepless in Ponyville very well. (what with the lack of Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash) But in my defense I never said the paintings had to be about the episode; just inspired by the episode. :P

That, and I just really wanted to paint Princess Luna in front of a big yellow crescent moon. (most likely inspired by sailor moon...for various reasons)
