I decided to try speedpainting my undead baboon character; Primus again. I wanted to work more with the colors of his skin this time around, so there's not much to do with clothing. I think I got a little better at making the colors pop, but I'm still not satisfied with how the lighting came out or the way the shadows look.

Also revisited doing glows for the eyes. There's a lot I need to relearn, but I've also noticed through these exercises that I'm not as dependent on lineart as I had been when painting in the past. So even if the outcome isn't what I want, it's all feeling like improvement now in a big way.
