An old sketch from 2020 I just now came back to to finish and flat color. I've been wanting to draw Cupid (my Sylveon) as an Eevee for a while then. Only to draw him with who was essentially his first "relationship"; Luna.
Luna was, as a concept back then, Neci the Flareon’s original design. I eventually changed that due to the fact that Sylveon/Umbreon was a disliked pairing from what I’ve seen due to Espy/Umbre stans. Obviously I'm not as afraid of pissing them off now lol. Though Cupid's first love back when he lived at Kalos' daycare alongside Luna wasn't really healthy, to say the very least, as cute as they look here. :x

Also I've been wanting to try and design Cupid's past Eevee self for the first time, and decided to give him some slight tabby-ish stripes to make him slightly unique. Do not like the long muzzle I gave him now and wish I shortened it before coloring. I'm already dreading the potential comments about how Eevees "should" be depicted as if nobody's allowed to deviate or see them as just their own species... but ohwell.
