I just wanted to draw on of those set back rectangular background things so I chose a random character and went off with it!

Some of you may remember River, my old human-eagle-lynx Maximum Ride OC. Unfortunately THIS http://elyslullabye.deviantart.com/art/She-s-Coming-346121859 monstrousity is the only other picture of her that survived the Great Purge of 2013.

I used to draw her wings like twice the size of her body so it wasn't really gonna work for this picture, and I've been considering downsizing them anyway. Now they're mostly vestigial, she can't fly at all.

So, I worked way harder on this than necessary...
