Ely's Lullabye by Ely's Lullabye

Ely's Lullabye

Ely's Lullabye

The orgin of my name is a rather complicated story, but in a nutshell, it's a song my mom used to sing to me when I was a baby, and even before I was born. It's a piece of probably at least 20 year old fan music based on a sci-fi novel, Andre Norton's Songsmith. Nerd is in my genes. XD

Ignore the ugliness of the lightning, please.

Sleep, sleep, little baby,

Hear not the cruel storm.

Our boats have come safely,

We're sheltered and warm.

Be still, little darling

And hark to the sound

Of Windsong and Wavesong,

Their voices are bound.

For Windsong shall free you,

And Wavesong shall teach you,

And my song shall love you,

The four seasons round.

So sleep...

Little seabird, sleep...
