This looks so bad scanned. The entire texture of the thing is so much better on paper, believe me.
The particular picture is the third version of this I've drawn. the first, I hated the colors I chose and the background was atrocious, the second I tried to outline it sharply and it was a disaster. This one I'm much more proud of, even though I'm not entirely happy with it.
