I've finally finished and scanned all these inks! They took a lot longer then I thought, but it was a fun project, although I'm looking forward to taking a brake from inks for a while.

African wild dogs! I based their clothing on Xhosa clothing and tradition (as best as I could google anyway. I couldn't find an explanation for the face painting so I'm not sure if it's entirely for art or if there is symbolisim as well). Only unmarried females are allowed to go bare breasted but I really wanted to paint wild dog markings so I'm assuming the older one painting the pup's face is a sister. I think she also gave her those beads too and that's why she's so happy.
