I can talk your ear off about Lilo and Stitch and how Nani is such a great parent in how she supports her weird little sister, who isn't actually all that weird. How Lilo's taking pictures of the big fat tourists probably stems from the fact that as a native Hawaiian they take pictures of her like that. How she feeds Pudge the fish because he controls the weather, and her parents died because of bad weather. How much I WISH they had included the deleted air siren scene because it so perfectly frames Hawaiian tourist and native relations. And how David is like THE BEST DUDE in how he puts his feelings for Nani aside and instead is there for her in the capacity she needs him most, as a friend. And like... so much more. SO MUCH MORE.
