So there I was having a good time Saturday at Furry Weekend Atlanta around the hotel pool when I slipped and fell onto my hand! At first I thought it was just brushed but while I was waiting for the elevator I hit a nerve under my right pinky and lost consciousness for a bit. I awoke to Archangel of con staff standing over me making sure I was alright. Later at the con security room it was determined that I had what's known as a boxers fracture. So upon suggestion of Archangel I went to the ER at the local hospital about half a mile down the road. It took about five or six hours but I left there with a splint and some medication and the notion that I would need surgery as soon as I get back to South Carolina.

So being unable to suit any more for the rest of the con, I took the time to just wander a bit more around con. It was then I bumped into coopertom for like the third time. All the other times I hadn't been able to get to him but this time I was and told him my story of my hand, saying that a picture would make this day better. Of course he happily agreed. :)

So even though the tail end of my con experience was a little choppy I still had a wonderful time meeting all of my friends from far away and making new ones. I hope to see everyone again next year minus the broken hand. :)

P.S. - sorry for the wonky smile, I was hopped up on medication :P
