Personality//

Dexter Larson is rather submissive when around certain people. He can be moody at times due to his past and fears, along with his flaws. He can be emotional at times such as crying and trying to hide somewhere because due to his belief that no one would be his friend if he’s in tune with his emotions. He will blush easily at times or even when he is praised or given hope that he has made a friend. He is a pacifist because he doesn’t think violence solves anything. He is fiercely loyal and selfless towards those he considers as his friends. He also has a strong caring nature. There are times when he will be a risk taker and try save his friends physically and with magic attacks.

• Intelligent: He does pretty decent for himself but however he does show that he is smarter than he lets on.

History//

Dexter Larson was adopted from birth by his mother who wanted to get quick money. His adopted parents’ name is Burns. He had been very sheltered for 14 years with the adopted parents. He knew that he was adopted which is why he’s known as Larson.

Dexter was easily bullied, pity upon, and taken advantage of due to his kind heart and being naive. All this lead to him being abused repeatedly and being mistreated. He was mainly abused by his ex-boyfriend. But there have been some incidents where his friends have bullied him and abused him.

Due to these negative events, Dexter was transferred to Japan by his adopted parents. He was shipped to his birth father that was living in Japan in a rural area which was right next to Kirimori City. Kenichi, Dexter’s birth father, spent a few months with Dexter, teaching him Japanese. However, there have been times where Kenichi was teaching Dexter different ways of going about things and situations in hopes to help coax him out of his shy bubble. Whenever they go out of their rural home, Dexter would be hiding behind his father in front of people he’s not familiar with. Also there was only one friend he had made outside of his father's home, a boy named Rain Palma.

After a few months staying with his birth father, Dexter and Kenichi received the news that Dexter’s birth mother and grandfather were in hospital and it was due to an unknown disease which was happening at the time.

Kenichi suggested that Dexter go to the Higashimori High School. Dexter feels like this would be a good fresh start for him at this school.

Trivia//

He wants to become an Art and ASL (American Sign Language) Teacher.

If you even mention ‘Supernatural’, he will fanboy over it all day long.

When his CI is off, his tone gets very deep and deaf sounding which can be hard to understand at times.

He is messy at times, even to point where his room will be messy EXCEPT for his art section area.

He will LOVE you forever if you ever buy him a cup of tea, especially Green Tea.

Once he has a ‘comfort zone’ aka best/close friend, he tends to hide behind them when there’s someone that makes him feel awkward near by.

He hates the color of pink and refuses to have it anywhere on his stuff.

He is openly gay but he is a bit too submissive to hit on other guys. However, he's rather clueless if a girl likes him or a guy likes him.

Dexter is born deaf and was adopted at birth.

Reason for Larson Surname: The reason for the Larson surname is simple: Kenichi’s father, Dexter’s grandfather, is of an American family line aka Larson. However the grandfather decided to move to Japan for a job opportunity. While in Japan, the grandfather had met this wonderful woman whom he had married and shared life with. They were gifted with the birth of Kenichi Larson. When Kenichi was 10 years old, the family had moved back to America due to a job. Kenichi’s father gotten transferred to an outlet in America that is part of the Japanese company that he works for. Kenichi’s mother gotten homesick and they decided to move back to Japan when Kenichi was in his third year of high school.

His childhood friend is Rain Palma and Dakari Palma whom he had met when he moved to Japan. They are one of the few people that he is comfortable with.
