When a male Sylvermoon receives their blessing from the moon god or goddess, both moons must be in the waxing crescent phase. While the two gods, Droth and Inua are usually responsible for giving the Sylvermoon their blessing, a third mostly forgotten force can interrupt the ceremony during a double blood moon and give the Sylvermoon the blessing instead.
