So uh, I went outside to my front lawn after a bad storm and found....
A baby yellow belly slider
Is there turtle owners I could have give me advice? Going out this weekend to buy turtle stuff.
I even have protein powder, if that helps.

Ah! I found one of those once! We raised it for a bit, got too big for the tank so we set it free.

Not sure if it helps, but I've always heard for aquatic/semi-aquatic turtles, it's best to have running water in their tanks. An air pump, air stone, and a water filter would be good to get for this turtle! If that's the case, you'll also need to get a water conditioner and dechlorinator, because the water we use to drink has lots of chemicals in it that's not good for aquatic creatures. Your turtle might also need a log/rock to sit on when they're not swimming. I'm not sure on food, but I think I also heard they might eat fish as well as small worms, so you should also see if you can pick up a couple of feeder goldfish (the small ones).
Either way, I definitely recommend research! Cute little turtle, though!

not sure for this specific turtle but they'll eat carrots and lettuce as well.

That is adorable.
