In 2000, I wrote a book about a young boy who took on the world. Somewhere along the lines, that boy became Sir Driphtyr Kitin, a boy who's... taking on the world...

I can certainly say Driphtyr's certainly as cocky as his very first incarnation, but he's a lot more detailed and has a far better backstory.

You know, in 13 years, I still never figured out what the hell that "A" stood for. I'm considering incorporating it in Driphtyr's new coat of arms in the second book. I believe this little character here had "A" in some form on his clothing until 2005.

I think the "passing" occurred somewhere between 2009 and 10. As I wrote over the years, I watched this young, bouncy character become hardened and damaged. Eventually, he turned into a demon, and finally, the darkness fell away and left behind an interesting new character. The old character actually seems to have been the spark for many of the characters I have today. But, the link to Driphtyr is the strongest, as seen in the red and blue (yes I know it's not coloured) clothing.

This younger form will make an appearance in the story. Enough on that for now.
