June 20th is my work anniversary, the day I started working on this model and related projects. This year is the 4 year anniversary! Beginning with last year, I've started putting together various special pieces, including retrospectives to commemorate the anniversary, look back on what I've done, and challenge myself with some more difficult experiments.

Time flies, but things didn't really pick up until last year when kharonalpua made the bold, but ultimately brilliant suggestion that I start over. That effort started with the 3 year anniversary. I was reluctant, but it ultimately turned out to be quite possibly the best advice I've gotten so far. I still think starting completely over might be a bit much and I am happy I went with retopology route with QuadDraw. I ended up abandoning the old model as a baseline shortly after the first month or so, only bringing it back up a couple more times for the tail and paws.

Still, I have to wonder if I should have started completely over with the skeleton, too. I may yet have to try that.
