The Yuma are a very tiny people, generally under 4 feet tall. They come from an "island planet" (a planet that lacks continents) and much like human type people have a variety of religions and cultures. They can come in a variety of colors, with the men having more contrasting and often brighter tones.

This picture is of two characters who were living during "the dark ages". This was a time when the entire race had been enslaved. There's a big back story to that, but it's not worth getting into here.

The Yuma look very different from their original designs. I had at first called them "the bird people" and had them more like heavily anthropomorphized birds. Later on I thought this looked a bit silly and cartoon-ish, so I changed them to a more humanoid shape. They still have a lot of their "birdiness" in their behavior.
