Aaaaages ago, I took on a project. The brief was, a salarian from the Mass Effect series, except as a modern fighter pilot.

It took me forever to make any progress on the project, because life intervened and also I'm well-meaning but unfortunately somewhat unreliable. (This was eventually finished in 2017.)

Anyway, here are the final results. Surprisingly, once I put pen to paper, the project developed with remarkably little artistic pain. The line art, the backdrop, the colours ... they all just sort of fell out without fuss or bother. It made for quite a refreshing change. The only thing that really went pear-shaped was the pilot's shadow (he does have one, but it doesn't stand out against the tarmac).

Edit: I've reduced the brightness on the file, as my scanner seems to have rendered the original in an almost radioactive light!
