Guchulag is about 6 years younger than his brothers and never really got along with them. Mukuru and Jagul were very close in age and followed their father’s warrior footsteps. Guchulag was an annoyance, tagging after them, and an oddity with his talking to rocks and puddles of water. Mukuru frequently vented his frustration on his little brother. One day as he was pinning Guchulag down, the younger troll panicked and lashed out with his tusks, blinding Mukuru in one eye. Guchulag was horrified by what he’d done, and shortly afterward was sent off to learn from a shaman mentor to get him away from Mukuru’s vengeance. Twenty-two years later, their relationship is still very much strained.
