Lab Journal #0001: From White to Blue by DragomanHero

The antidote of the “Blueberry” infection was successful. It took me 120 hours to find the right formula to remove the infection, and stable a dragoman. I’ve started making it during my group fixing a problem that we found in a different universe ruled by humans. It was in a candy factory on planet Earth, where our spybots spot a machine that makes gum to have three different flavors that changes in several seconds. But after the third flavor, the little female, which was in the surveillance, turned blue, and her body, formed in a big blue sphere. The owner of the factory mentioned he tested the gum on his workers, and they end up the same results as the gum-chewing girl. We, as the science group of the Universal Explorer Center (U.E.C.), thought we bring the gum idea to our universe, and fix the problem.
We made the same gum-making machine in our world, made the gum, and tested it on our test clones. The result was the same from the human universe: the clone announced each flavor had been changed, described the flavors, and turned into a big “blueberry.” After that, the clone exploded; the juice was everywhere. We spent months to find the problem. We tried everything to stop the transformation, but it failed. Until then, we found the right formula: the test clone tasted the last flavor, and was unharmed. We’d celebrated on our success. The recipe of the formula was kept secret to everyone, until if the outsiders of U.E.C. made the same recipe by coincidence.
During in the process, I had a thought: if the gum came out too early, and if our people die from it, there should be a cure if that happens. So, after each break period of the project, I took the blueberry infected gum with me, and tried to find the ingredients of an antidote. After all the tests I made, some ended failure; some stopped the explosion, but stuck in a form a blueberry; and others were unharmed, but in a skin of blue. But then, I found the right one. The test clone was completely unharmed.
After seeing this successful scene, I suddenly spotted my white skin hand turning in a shade of blue. I chewed the infected gum than my favorite one by accident! My skin turned from white to blue, underbelly turned bluish gray, and my hair, horns and claws turned to light blue. I quickly started making the antidote as fast as I can. While making it, I started to swell: the core of my body started to feel tight and round. It ripped my clothes apart. Then suddenly, I became immobile, unable to finish the antidote. It feels so tight; my body is about to explode. Is this the end of me? No, on the count of the unused antidote from the last test I saw. I used my levitation powers from my front horn to pick it up. I let it fly towards me, and injected myself. After that, my body started to shrink, as the juice inside me disappeared, and I was back to normal size, although my body is still blue. Also, the side effect of the antidote kicked in by puking out the juice.
For being as a big round blueberry, I was frightened; yet, I felt so alive. Better yet, I think I enjoyed being huge and immobile. It felt like I’m wrapped in a waterbed. I found what I liked, and a lesson on what I experienced: Never bring any food, including gum, in the lab. I’m keeping the new skin color on me as a reminder.

I feel like writing a first-person view short story on how Dr. Coyle got his skin turned to blue.
