I tried to get across in the last panel that the guard's shaking his head no.
Not sure this motion came across, so if anyone has any suggestions for the future, let me know!
...it's unintentional that he looks like the Janus shoulder patch. I didn't even realize that until I was inking.

Shake, not a nod. That guard on the left wants nothing to do with what's going on at this point.

Regarding the nod, aim the face downward, and have less side to side, and put vertical motion lines on the outside. It'll read better. Not that it matters... I think they're about to die.
