Due to the slow change in geological topography, a drainage pipe was needed where an old stream used to be. In local folklore, the old stream also used to have a Kappa. But little did anyone know, that the silt from the stream had transformative properties, and was the source for all the Kappa's that ever existed.
Now, best buddies Marc and Dirk, are down by their favourite swimming lake and get curious about the drain pipe. After turning into a Kappa, Dirk found that he rather liked the feeling of the cold, clammy mud, along with the darkness in the pipe, and wasn't about to leave his friend out from getting to enjoy the feeling too.
