This is a work-in-progress - I still need to put this image through Photoshop to shade/enhance it.

Aussie is a 'Pyroopial' - a kangaroo/marsupial type monster with a high resistance to fire and stuff like that. Also she has a really thick Australian accent.

Aussie features/will feature in the same comic as 'Fina the Aviacean' (see my gallery for details). Initially Aussie was to play a lesser role in the comic as more of a supporting character, but over the past few months I've realised the full extent of her comic potential and have decided to make her more of a main character - so she'll probably feature frequently alongside Fina and the other 'major player' monsters in my forthcoming comic.

I wanted to submit her sooner rather than later because I'm a little paranoid that Nintendo/Game Freak may come up with a similar fire monster design for their 7th-generation Pokemon starters - and if I leave it too late it'll look like I've copied one of their monsters instead of having come up with something original.
