Fina in her natural environment.

Fina is an Aviacean – a species of monster that is as much at home above the waves as beneath.

Her orange collar and midriff ring are part of her body (not unlike those of the Pokémon ‘Floatzel’). These flotation sacs provide buoyancy in water but also help her to fly. Fina can fill the flotation sacs with internally produced lighter-than-air gases to enable her to gain altitude (not unlike a helium-filled balloon).
