Arsenal: Robo-Beasts- Through advanced animatronics and robotics, Horror Show has built these creatures and covered them in dense and durable latex in the molds of the creatures of different films he’s worked on. He has also incorporated different weapons in the different beasts like razor blades, flamethrowers, acid launchers and others.
Phobia Grenades- These small holographic projectors Horror Show carries are thrown on the ground and produce common phobias to put anyone in the vicinity of the grenade into a state of fear and panic.
Nightmare Leeches- These small devices are somewhat like more localized phobia grenades. When these devices are placed on the back of the head, they produce a virtual reality simulation of a person’s worst and most terrifying nightmare. This simulation will continue until the device is removed or until the victim dies from fright.
Staff of Fear- This staff that Horror Show carries around with him possesses a number of different qualities. The gem on top of the staff is actually a holographic projector similar to the phobia grenades that he can activate and alter through a remote control hidden in the staff. This staff also houses several nightmare leeches.
Spectacles- Horror Show’s glasses aren’t just a fashion sense. These red-tinted lenses make him immune to the holograms he produces.
Background: Howard Chaney was once one of the best special effects artists in the movie business. His company Nightmare Realized Industries supplied special effects to numerous different films, mostly monster movies and horror films. The company was known for the most realistic and amazing make-up, prosthesis, animatronics and other special effects in the film industry. However with each new creation, Chaney strived for even more realism and perfection in his works. Unfortunately this lead to his downfall as a special holographic monster his company created caused a lead actress to suffer a panic attack and shock. Afterwards the studio responsible for the film cancelled their contract with Nightmares Realized and caused other studios not to commission his company. When Nightmares Realized completely went under, Howard Chaney decided to take revenge upon the cretins who did not appreciate his work and show them what real fear was.

HorrorShow is by far one of my favorite villains that I have created for the Darkwing Duckette story. I put so much work and thought into his character. I wanted to give his a very gothic feel to his look. Unintentionally his story pays some homage to Spiderman Rogue Mysterio. Enjoy.
