Yuuhi, the Crown Prince (and later Monarch) of the throne of the Obsidian Serpent, otherwise known as Juuouchou, the Kingdom of the Makai.

A rare moment of vulnerability, sheltered and made calmer by the hold of a protective object, when the one whom always makes hir feel safe is away.

Protective of hir friends and family, a sword considered a God killer, effectively cradled like a beloved child in hir grip, fingers that could easily be cut, holding the weapon by its blade, never being bitten.

Afterall, a weapon serves whom it deems worthy, and with the trials that Yuuhi has faced, the blade named Shizukami-no-Koe (God of the Silent Voice), has chosen the youkai as its wielder.

It cuts only what is directed to, through flesh and into the spirit.

And in its slice, the agony of what once passed can be felt... and only its victims will ever share Yuuhi's unseen pain.
