RIP Sherah. My dog, who just turned 17 in September, was put to sleep this morning. She had heart problems and kidney failure. In the last three weeks she dropped around 70% of her weight and was so skinny you could wrap your fingers around her and still have room. She was unable to walk without bumping into things or falling..

I can't help but feel guilty for not being by her side, or being able to say goodbye. I miss her so much but I know that it was for the better and she is no longer suffering.

I'm sorry in advance if I seem non-talkative or a little abrasive for the next week or so.. I'm just not sure how to handle this. She was literally my best friend.
