Amelia and Rebecca are as different as night and day, Amelia is more carelessly carefree, she is loving to the point of clingyness. However she tends to push her misery behind a facade and often when she is pushed to far she tends to fall into a deep unrelenting depression and isolates herself (i mean she was in a depression for 50 years after her previous lover died). While Rebecca tends to be calmer and clearer head she isn't one to be against having fun or being silly however it is hard for her to form relationship with others. She is straightforward with everything and when pushed she will not break and just keep trying even if she does want to fall and be consumed by it all.
