When meeting someone else who is armed, it is customary to show your weapon, either sheathed or not and place it in front of you. This is to show you do not have any harmful intent. Having hidden weapons is seen as shameful for that reason.

For those who notice, Sherdhat becomes digitigrade when changing - those with major blood often lose their shoes if their feet turn digitigrade when shifting. As a result, Sherdhat often prefers to depart on jobs and keeps himself in tiger form as much as he can - especially during full moons, wherein he is by default a tiger regardless o whether or not he's hungry.
