So anyways, those who know me on SwapNote may recognize some poorly-drawn lion after I started walking around with a hood on all the time. See, I had this random thought that anthro lions would get hat-hair. So naturally... I had her draw her interpretation of the "Hooded Lion".

I'd sort of imagine the Hooded Lion's colouration to sort of be like the White Lions at the mirage - where only the mane is white. See, I think it's quite fascinating that the rest of their fur is a standard leonine-colour.
