Lotus works as a librarian in Heurik. The library in question is pretty small, but she prides herself in taking good care of it… she’s read almost every book in the library, which is an incredible feat for someone her age. But you can ask her pretty much anything, and she’s likely to have an answer. Aside from reading and studying she also loves to knit using her own wool (she is a llama after all). She especially loves to make gifts for her friends using her wool, but sometimes she misjudges and makes the necks too long on her friends’ sweaters… it’s the thought that counts, right?

Meryl is tall for a mouse and extremely friendly. She likes to talk so she can get to know others better, but sometimes she winds up being nosy and prying too much, so she can be exhausting to be around if you’re a more reserved person. She knows some basic magic (she studies it with a friend of hers) and wants to use it to protect everyone she cares about, and also beat up bad guys.

Starlight was raised by her grandparents and has only the vaguest memories of her parents. Her grandparents were strict so she spent a lot of time studying medicine and healing magic under them. As a kid she didn’t get out much and had trouble making friends… Meryl tried really hard to be her friend and eventually succeeded, and she started to go out and talk to others more often, though she really only grew close to two or three of them. True to her name she knows a lot about stars and constellations.
