This is the first story involving my main character Allen Rosten.
The first in the Crossing Lines series.

Allen is not your typical bouncy, energetic, lustful fox. He comes from a family who, all but his Father, have rejected him. You see, he's not a pure bred arctic fox. He's about 20% white tiger. He is the blemish in a family of all fox decent. As soon as he graduated from High School, class of 2258, he was promptly kicked out of his upper class house with the clothes on his back and enough money for a down payment on a home. Thanks to Dad. The rest was left to him.

Twenty hard years later, he's still working at the same company. Still doing the same job, all be it more proficient then he was when he first started. Still single, after all, who'd want to date a mixed breed. Not that he had the time to date. Work consumed much of the night, well past curfew, and he slept in the day. Not exactly compatible with the rest of the world's sleeping habits.

So this story picks up from here. The year is 2278, on a planet that's not Earth. But think of it as the Star Trek era during the original first 6 movies. They have Two suns, one yellow(like ours) the other is a blue dwarf. Two moons. They are the sixth planet in their solar system. And this planet enjoys a very lush environment with lots of greenery that's sustain by lots of rain and other forms of weather. Trees and plants are encouraged to grow everywhere. The environment is clean, with clean burning fuel for the cars, trucks, and buses talked about in the story.
