Welcome to today's SOTD! I'm finally back from vacations are my mom's place, and I've been looking for a way to fix the audio delay for hours and ends up it's a problem with Movie Maker and its codecs not being fully compatible with 720p.

Looked for other video editing software and found a promising one, VideoPad. This one is simple enough, allows some nice and fast edits, is compatible with .avi and has plenty of codecs.

I'm still having some issues with the audio though, since I record in VBR and none of the codecs support it so they try to convert it to CBR, which ends up with horrible results. Tried all the codecs and found a temporary solution, that gives a decent audio quality but it's a shitty and obsolete format so in the future, I'll record in another audio format.

But since this software allows .avi editing, that means next video will probably be in 1080p! I say probably 'cause with my luck, I wouldn't be surprised if something fucked up again.
