This has been a project in the works for several months. Recently with some recovery from my illness I've finally had the drive to finish it. There is also a finished animatic of these storyboards which you can watch below!

The storyline is based around original characters that I've created for the Avatar: The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra universe. (They're werewolves, but if I explained how they fit into the world we'd be here for three weeks.) To make it short, Rulin, with the help of Firelord Zuko, has created an army of werewolves that are involved in special tasks that other militarized forces are not specialized in solving. Her son Jiansho has been trained from birth to accept the future role of the army's general, though with pressure from such a daunting future, as well as having issues in developing his fire bending skills (and him being the son of a powerful and respected Firelord makes it no easier), his mind breaks from the pressure. This results in him mastering lighting bending through his rage, and causing more damage than good, to the extent of attacking his mother. In her own defense, Rulin has to fight her own child to remain alive and to keep him from injuring others.
