Hector is no exception to the rule, that cats like laying in beams of sunlight. It is not uncommon for cats in this universe to have their houses built with skylights. So here he is in his favorite spot, in his favorite chair, soaking up the sun.

Another painting, heck yeah. Still trying to learn how to do this, I’m getting better though, little by little. More fur experimentation with this. I am going between liking the fur and hating it. In some places it looks pretty nice, but in others it reads like scales and not fur. So ehhhh. But I shall continue with more experimentation until I get results I like, so each painting will probably differ quite a bit from each other.  Also some of his markings got a little lost in the details.

Ok shout out time. I used 4 brushes in total to make this, two were default PS brushes, the other two were custom made:
Tatchit’s Triangle Brush Used mostly for the fur detail
Dreamspirit’s “God” Brush- (If you want this brush you can email me and I’ll share it, as there is no where to download it.) Used on the chair cushion.
