First finished painting of 2019! It my character, Kichiro! He is a dragon born with what, dragon kind, call the Celestial Flame. He uses the magatama to focus the power of the flame into useful forms. He can create projectiles, barriers/shields, streams (similar to lightning), ect. He can also breath the flame from his mouth. This is actually the first painting I’ve ever done of Kichiro, even though I’ve had him for 8 years at this point. I’ve commissioned art of him from others, though.

Listened to quite a few things while working on this, but most notably, Woolfe‘s latest album, Symphony of Shifting Tides. It’s an accompaniment album for her upcoming book of the same name.
