After almost a week of no art due to illness, I decided to climb back on the horse... or rather, launch myself flailing wildly. I just needed to do something big to get the juices flowing again.
I may try to snap another photo tomorrow when the sun is out and I'm not under studio lighting.

Clear Gesso is what really gave me to push to branch out. It doesn't bleed or absorb paint at different rates than painting over straight collage (which is still too much for me)
The only downside is it feels like drawing on a pumice stone.

Beautiful, I like a lot the effect of painting on newspapers like this. Too bad I can't bring myself to try it... painting on unusual supports scares me. X-P
