This was an interesting character. The main subject is actually the cardinal, a forest spirit, whose name is Piper. The wolf is the reanimated body of its long passed friend that it keeps alive by perching on the dogwood on the wolf's head. I thought that was a pretty neat concept :)

It must have been nice for you to draw such a unique character. Very beautiful I like how both the wolf and Cardinal are drawn. My favorite part of the wolf is the tail and fur :)
