I'd been waiting for this piece from fluffball to announce this - we now have a beautiful mutant mouse/rabbit baby of our own! She was born on the 30th of December 2016 and is now almost exactly one month old. This picture was based on a real photo from her very first days - and having a baby is sort of like being repeatedly kicked in the face by an adorable tiny foot.

And I've... kind of got used to her? She isn't exactly complicated to care for, but you spend every moment in terror that you're doing something wrong or she'll hurt herself or cry for something. But we're learning her needs and her personality, and everything is beginning to feel... normal.

It'll be great when I have to explain to her she had a fursona from birth...
