The webcomic "West Corner of the Park" started way back in 1997, the same year Sluggy Freelance and User Friendly did, and was named after the main gathering site in FurryMUCK. While the original website is gone, the Internet Archive maintains copies of many of the strips starting at http://wayback.archive.org/web/20120430231148/http://www.graphxpress.com/cgi-bin/wcotp.cgi?date=19970701 for your enjoyment; and its creator still posts new content regularly to https://www.furaffinity.net/user/rabbi-tom/ .

I don't really have much to add here besides what's in the strip itself. I've been doing this online furry thing for twenty years myself - and if all goes well, I'll be doing it for twenty more. So whatever my fursona may be, and whether or not I've been uploaded into the cloud by then, here's to the past, to the future, and to all the people in the present who make it all worthwhile.
