A young adult male with a rare extra tusk is fighting with an older adult male with a normal single tusk. The older male is confident he'll win since his tusk is longer than both the younger male's tusks, but the younger male is equally confident he'll win since the lengths of his two tusks combined is greater than the length of the older male. A juvenile male from a juvenile group passing near the adult males' group watches a bit closer than is safe. A calf who managed to sneak away from its mom and the other members of their nursery group came to watch, too, right beside the juvenile, but the anxious mom quickly tracked down her calf and brought it back to the safety of the nursery group.

Hopefully that's a believable enough little story, it just popped in my head around when I started working on this at least a month ago, if not more. I can't remember exactly when I started working on this pic, and I lost track of how many hours I spent on it. I'd work on it for an hour or two or a few then leave it some time and then work on it more and that repeated I-don't-know-how-many-times until just recently, now that I've finally finished it. Originally it was going to be a contest entry, but I changed my mind about entering, and then decided to finish this pic and try to make it look as fancy as I know how just for its own sake. I'm not entirely satisfied with it but I'm still pretty damn proud.
